THE KALONA CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED FOR THE 2025 SEASON.
The campground currently has thirty-eight campsites with water and electrical hook-ups.

Water and electricity are available from April 15 to October 15, 2025.

CAMPGROUND RULES
-- Cost of Camping is based on 1 space per night-- ALL Campers must be registered within 1 hour of occupying space
-- ALL sites should be for 1 camper or 1 tent
-- Sites 1-29 are NOT pull through. Two spots back to back
--ALL Campers need to stay on gravel pad. Please Keep camper OFF grass
--NO parking/driving on grass. If there is no room for a tow/towed vehicle please park in parking area by shower house or East Parking lot by ball fields
--No Parking tow/towed vehicle(s) in unoccupied site
--NO vehicle or RV washing in park
--ALL Garbage should be deposited in the dumpster
--ALL pets must be on a Leash. Pet droppings must be properly disposed
--DO NOT let gray/black water run out of your unit onto the ground--MUST use dump station
--Check out time is 1:00pm
--Camp sites must stay clean, so that City crews can mow anytime. Please make sure belongings are under camper. Any items left out will be placed on picnic table
--Wood from out of state not permitted
Long Term Campers-NO Long Term Rate
--Long Term Campers must stay current with payment.
--No payment arrangements with the City of Kalona will be made. Late payments will result in a 24-hour notice to leave.
--Long Term Campers must keep camping registration ticket updated
--Long Term Campers must keep site clean and picked up. All items will need to be kept under camper or on gravel pad. If site is not kept clean and picked up, it will result in a notice to leave within 24- hours
--Long Term Campers must have a way to tow or move camper within 24-hours. Must have tow vehicle.
